Password for Windows is created so that you can keep your important files and folders out of the reach of the people and for other security reasons. People keep on changing passwords very often. Click on the reset option and make a new password in two boxes – New Password box and Confirm New Password box. After doing this, press the OK button. This method would work for only those people who have more than one user account in the windows.

If your problem is still not solved because you cannot use the abovementioned two methods, then there is no need to worry. Most people would go for reformatting their computer but in doing so; they lose their all files and folders. You just need to have some patience.
